INCURRING DEBT/SELLING PROPERTY
Debtors may incur debt during bankruptcy only with permission of the Court. Requests should only be for reasonable and necessary expenses.
The Debtor’s Attorney must file a Motion with the court for any approval. The most common reason for seeking approval is to incur debt for a vehicle when no alternative exists. Approval is also necessary for any sale of property.
